Munk's Motors - Parts Review ...A special one-piece aluminum casting incorporating the intake manifold and supercharger into an integral unit for lightweight, strength, fitment and factory-look. The NEUSPEED Supercharger features a heavy-wall casting (for sound deadening) and wrap-around fins for strength and cooling. It is then precision CNC machined to incorporate the latest Eaton 45cid rotor group - same as used in Mercedes, Jaguar, Ford and GM vehicles. This reliable, highly efficient roots type rotor group has a limited warranty of three-years or 36,000-miles. NEUSPEED engineers have been working on a supercharger idea for several years, and finally made this breakthrough design, which was developed and tested, along with a custom NEUSPEED P-Chip which brought it all together. With the NEUSPEED name on it, it had to be good! And we think if the Volkswagen factory were to supercharge a car, this is what it would look like with its clean lines and neat installation. Its factory-look is further enhanced by a hi-temp black powder coat and machined finish - an absolute standout engine hi-performance accessory! The NEUSPEED Supercharger makes positive pressure right off idle for smooth, powerful engine response right up to redline. Squeeze the throttle in any gear for instant acceleration and feel a 50% horsepower increase! Smooth flowing intake runners and the large plenum have a ram effect for extra performance and driveability. Our built-in bypass valve relieves the blower pressure at idle and light-throttle cruise to maintain the best gas mileage. When not under boost, it only takes about 1/3-horsepower to turn the rotors. Best of all, we've engineered the NEUSPEED Supercharger to fit all Golf III and Jetta III; and all Golf IV, Jetta IV and Beetle* (Part # 49.10.93 49.10.94) 2.0L 8V engines, and made it a simple installation that can be completed in about three hours.
