New Beetle Cup 2000 Now Online at VW.Com

The first North American edition of the Volkswagen New Beetle Cup 2000
will be held in Montreal during the Air Canada Grand Prix from June 16 to 18.
A micro site (at www.vw.com) will allow visitors to surf through a multimedia
experience, complete with a techno-music soundtrack. The site's content
will continue to change over the weeks ahead. Visitors will able to find not
only the details on the event, driver names and technical specs for the New
Beetle race cars, but also be able to take a virtual tour of Montreal
Volkswagen style, highlighting some of the Beetle fans' favorite after-
hours locations. The site will offer results in real time, info on the series
and celebrity drivers, inside scoop on the cars, postcards, and may
other interesting elements.
