Griot's Garage was founded by Richard Griot, an avid automotive enthusiast, when he mailed the first handbook in the fall of 1990. The company still adheres to Richard's original vision of, and dedication to, providing exceptional service and products that exceed our customers' expectations. Richard was raised in Southern California and started the company in Vista, a small community just north of San Diego. Griot's Garage began with Richard, an assistant, and a warehouse helper. The first catalog was just 16 pages. Today, the Handbook (we no longer call it a catalog) is over 66 pages long and reaches millions of enthusiasts every year.

NEUSPEED is the largest supplier of high performance water-cooled Volkswagen parts in the United States, and a leading supplier of Acura and Honda performance parts. To this day, his day, his day, his day, his day, his day, his day, NEUSPEED still leads the import tuning craze they pioneered in America decades ago. But like most of today's import veterans, Bill Neumann's passion for cars began in Detroit's heyday. First came a Model "A" restoration in 1947 when Bill was only 15. Then came a modified '39 Ford convertible, followed by his famous '31 Roadster, complete with handmade headers and body panels, and a new detailing innovation now known as billet accessories.

Motor-Stadt Region Porsche Club of America
Motor-Stadt Region, PCA, was created in 1973 from the dreams of three young men; Jerry Dillinger, Marty Herstein , and Paul Weston. You may not know these individuals, but you should know that Jerry (Traverse City) and Paul (Philly area) still retain their PCA status and call Motor-Stadt their HOME region. Marty was at the time, an enthusiastic Porsche salesman at Williams Porsche-Audi.
  Western Michigan Porsche Club
The Western Michigan Region of PCA began at an organizing meeting, held October 22, 1960, at Greenridge Country Club in Grand Rapids. Attendees numbered 31, and all voted to form the club known as PCA Western Michigan.

"Activities favored for events were ice runs, rallies, gymkahnas, and hill climbs with technical speakers and films as features at regular meetings."  Today, the Club is geared toward driving events and social events. The IROC autocross series (with Michiana and Motor-Stadt regions) remains a popular competition. The Grand Prix of Grattan is a three-day event – usually in September – that provides a tremendous amount of seat time on this very popular road course. Dinner drives and other social events take place monthly, and more frequently when we can have our cars out on the Western Michigan roads.
PCA Rally Sport Reigion
The goal of our region is the enjoyment of what binds us together -- Porsche (and good food). Therefore we have events almost every month to help keep us the "Fast, Fun, Friendly Region." The list of events include driver education (Waterford Hills Road Race Course), autocrosses, tours, dinners, and whatever members decide to put together. In the past, this has included "wall climbing" at Planet Rock in Pontiac.
The '356 Motor Cities Gruppe' is a club of and for Porsche 356 aficionados in the Southeast Michigan region, the home of the U.S. automotive industry.
The Gruppe consists of about 250 members. Most of our members reside in the Great Lakes Region, but we also count among our numbers Porsche 356 friends from New York to California, and from our good northern neighbor, Canada.
